So here I was, at 1am, sitting here wondering why in the world I hadn’t gone to bed when I was passing out at 10. So something told me to go check Ticketmaster just for kicks. Elton John is playing here next Friday and Saturday and Nate, my partner in crime in all things Elton, and I, have tickets for Friday night. When they added Saturday, I told her we had to go but she declined, because of some nephew’s birthday or something.
At first I was ok with not indulging in both nights, but then I found out this was the Captain and the Kid tour and he’d be playing stuff from his new album as well as songs from Captain Fantastic and, well, I changed my mind and I HAD to go.
All along, Saturday night wasn’t sold out, but the tickets available were… eh. Not anything I would turn down, but something told me to wait, which I knew was a risk, because they could totally sell out, and I’d be left with nothing.
So anywayyyyy….. I went to Ticketmaster and (as usual) there were seats available, and I looked at where the ticket they gave me was…

I was confused you see, because I’ve never SEEN tickets that say FLR on them before!!! The seating map showed that indeed FLR stands for floor. I wasn’t lucky enough to get in the front 7 rows (they let those rows rush the stage at some point), however, I’m not in the back 7 either. And…
